Thin shot:
Thin shot happens when the leading edge of a club head strikes the middle of the golf ball or higher (the top half of the golf ball above the equator).
Thin shot causes the ball to shoot out very low with very little spin and rolling for quite a distance upon landing. Other names: blade or bladed shot.
