Marker:
Marker in golf has two meanings. It is:
- A person who is appointed to record (mark down) a player’s score. It is the player’s responsibility to make sure the scores written down by the marker on the scorecard are correct before signing it. The marker is not a referee,
or - A unofficial name of a ball marker – a small flat object designed for marking the place on a putting green where a golf ball is lifted from.
