Switch:

Switch is a format of golf competition in which two teams, comprised of two players (partners) each, compete against each other. Both partners hit tee shots, swap positions and hit the second stroke (partners hit the teammate’s ball). Then, from the third shot all partners play their own golf balls into the hole. This format can be played as Match Play or Stroke Play. The better score (like in Four-Ball) or the sum of the partners’ score is recorded as the team score for each hole.

Other name: Modified Four-Ball (in the Grant Thornton Invitational).
