Starter

Starter:

Starter is a person that is responsible for starting off each group. They are stationed at the first tee and maintain an even flow onto the course. Their main responsibilities include controlling and maintaining of tee time schedule, in particular:

• the proper starting order and
• distances between groups of players.

Additionally, the starter is usually authorized to give instructions for the course that day and to verify that everyone in the group has paid green fee.
