Eclectic

Eclectic:

Eclectic competition is a multi-round golf event that results in one 18-hole score per player. Each golfer plays the designated number of rounds (e.g. multi-day tournament). Alternatively, the Committee collects scores from all players over a longer period of time (e.g. a season). Of course, all rounds must be played on the same course.

At the end of the competition, individual hole scores from all of a player’s rounds are compared. The lowest score made on each hole is recorded for the competition, resulting in one 18-hole score per person. The player with the lowest final score (gross or net) wins.

Other name: Ringers.
