COR:

COR is the golf acronym for Coefficient of Restitution. It is the amount of rebound provided by a club face. A COR of 1.00 would mean that the ball would rebound at the same speed it impacted the club face. The USGA has limited the amount of COR a club face can have to 0.822 with a test tolerance of .008, effectively taking the limit up to 0.830.
