PBFU:

PBFU is an acronym for “Post Birdie F@ck Up”. It is used informally in casual play and unofficial commentary. It refers to a situation where a player makes a birdie on one hole and then gets into trouble on the next hole, producing a poor score, such as a double bogey.

If necessary, PBFU may also be interpreted as “Post Birdie Foul Up” as a softer alternative.
